Nori Haverstock
Senior Training Consultant of SUPERVALU University
Nori has been a member of the SVU team since 1995. Along with being an Instructor, Nori is responsible for the research, development and instructional design activities necessary for developing new courses and updating existing material.
Professional Experience
Since 1972, Nori has held a number of positions in the supermarket industry. Her experience includes 15 years of management in the retail side of the business and another eight years on the wholesale side.
As an Instructor and Instructional Designer for SVU, Nori has become a specialist in many of SUPERVALU's specific training courses including Category Management, Center Store and ABS. She also specializes in Personnel and Management Development courses such as People Management, Leadership Skills, Preventing Workplace Harassment and How to Compete Against Mass Merchants. Over the years, Nori has worked closely with grocery retailers to develop BARS, a store-wide Customer Service program.
Education
Nori has studied business administration at the University of Minnesota. She is a Minnesota Department of Health Certified Food Manager, as well as certified by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation to teach and administer Food Safety Certification training.
